Hello
I just got accepted into an accelerated BSN program and I am also 4 months pregnant. I am due in Feb 05 and the start date for the program is August 05. I have a husband with a great job and a lot of family support(helping with daycare). Has anyone gone through this program with a newborn or a small child? If so how did you handle it?
Thanks!

I have not done nursing school yet, but think with the right kind of support...anything is possible. It won't be easy, but I think it could be done.
The only thing I would point out is if this is your first child, you may have them and not feel like doing anything but raising that child...I had my son and was planning on going right back to work and ended loving staying home with him. If I did not have to go back to work, I would have stayed home with him as long as I could have. I would have never thought I would feel that way, until I had him :) The good thing is you have time after he/she will be born to decide what you want to do....I would just see how you feel next year and decide then. Check with the school to see if you can defer a year if you end up deciding to wait.
Good luck & congratulations on the baby & getting into school! :balloons: :balloons:
