ABSN Duke Fall 2010

Hi All!

I have decided to take the plunge and leave my career as a mental health therapist to gain a BSN in Nursing and hopefully move straight into MSN program. Is anyone else applying to Duke in the Fall??:yeah:

I understand what you mean though, I'd definitely be jealous of someone who got to avoid the nail-biting. I had no idea they were even going to look at my file, so I was totally blown away. I was in a really tight situation because of another school though, so I'm really grateful that I don't have to sweat it out now.

I expect all of you will be getting good news pretty soon, too!

Thanks Kspills, You were right! I was surprised they thought it was a good interview, and she said alot of people feel that way because the interviews are so short, there's not much time for dialog. So I guess you guys shouldn't worry if you come out feeling that way too!

Hey gals, remember me? I just wanted to pop in and wish whoever is interviewing tomorrow the best of luck!

I've survived week two of class at UNC's ABSN program and can't wait for the weekend. Not for my usual anticipation, but for sleep! They don't mess around letting you get warmed up...

Hey Everyone!

Wow, it feel like I've been gone forever. I have been so busy lately, I've not had a chance to check in. I am so excited for everyone who is interviewing this week (today!) and for all of us whom are interviewing 1 week from today (eeekkkeeee) I am so looking forward to meeting everyone.

At this point I'm ready to get it done, the anticipation is killing me!! Oh yea and CONGRATS KEBUNT!!!! I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!

I'm so jealous some of y'all are at Duke right now. I finally bought my suit for next week's interview yesterday - yay! Ended up going with a traditional black suit, but that's what I like best. So hooray, I don't have to show up naked! :yeah: (Especially bright news considering that creepy "time for pictures" note in the email... bwhaha.)

I can't WAIT to hear from some of the folks who are going today! GOOD LUCK, Y'ALL. The next month of waiting seems so long!
