Hi ~ I feel for you as I felt the same way prior to my NCLEX. I had NCLEX scheduled 8/7 and extreme panic/anxiety set in a week before. It was so bad, I rescheduled my exam for three weeks later. I'm glad I did.

Anyway, what helped me most is obviously knowing as much core content and practicing q's (reading all answers right and wrong). When my test date came around the second time, I was much less nervous (I felt pretty comfortable I knew a lot of info) and I kept telling myself "do your best" and "it's just a test and if you don't pass you can take it over", etc. I went into the exam pretty calm. While the majority of NCLEX is testing fundamentals, core concepts/treatment/teaching, infection and priority, there are a good handful of q's that are more "critical thinking" type q's so really know how to decipher q's and answers...

Keep telling yourself you will do great. Be as prepared as possible. I used several resources to really "tie loose ends from other resources that were more narrow or focused on either content or q's" so this was helpful for me in passing NCLEX. Be confident in what you know and you will do awesome!

First of all, let me wish you good luck! :)

Secondly, I would still continue to review your materials, focusing in on: delegation, infection control, common medications (as well as their adverse effects), and lab values! If you are doing daily questions, continue with those, at least 25 every day (I used to do anywhere from 75-100).

Third, when taking practicing questions, as well as during the test, I know taking breaks helped me calmed my nerves. After every 10th question, I'd put my head down, or close my eyes, count to ten, or even do my ABC's just to let my mind rest and regroup.

Take a deep breath! You got this! And again, I wish you all the luck in the world! :)

i answer q's 75-100 a day since feb before i delivered my baby i finished saunders 4000qs in evolve, finished ncsbn qbank, kaplan qbank 100%, i did qt 1236 with score 60s, done with PDa except case studies.. im so nervous dont know how to study thos last 2 weeks.. cant sleep at night!
