Ok. I wanted to see if anyone knows how paramedics licenses work. I know someone who got caught at the fire station turning marijuana into light. He was arrest on site and charged with a felony. He said after the charges get dropped he could go back to work. I told him he is going to have to deal with the Department of health just like nurses cause they renew our licenses. He said they already showed did their interview and that was it.

Am I wrong, but wouldn't they come after him for a felony drug charge on government property?

He thinks once the legal stuff is over he gets to go back to work with no repercussions.

Yes, licensure for EMS would stipulate disciplinary action for impairment and felony drug charge.  Your state's EMS office (mostly likely part of department of public health) website should have rules, procedures ect.
