A Whole Summer..

...I have a whole summer off...

Classes have been out two weeks, and even with the extra hours I'm picking up at work, I've run out of things to clean at home...

I'm going stir crazy. I know I said that I couldn't wait until the summer, but now I really miss school. It seems like there are something like a million hours in a day now..

And I have no extra money, so I guess I need to find a free-ish hobby.

If you're out of school for the summer, what are you doing with all the extra time??

I'm going to have almost a whole Summer off AND Fall off, because the ADN program I may be starting won't start until Spring '14! I am going to take 1 class this Summer, but then I don't know what else I can do. I am practically done with every possible prerequisite I could take. I'm looking into volunteer work. I work from home but I get bored easily. I could get another job, but the last time that happened I got sucked into working way too many overtime hours and it wasn't worth the headache. I am possibly looking into extra classes I have always wanted to try, like learn another language and yoga.

I understand how you feel. I am the same way, couldn't wait till class ended now am ready to start back. I bought an NCLEX book and will do some studying to keep my brain fresh over the summer. I will also be doing a lot of spring cleaning.
