Published

Very happy to see you here! I am a RN from Hong Kong, China. I am eager to know:

How can I get registration and work in New Jersey and New York?

Is it I need to take a English test?

Is it I need to take a nursing exam in USA?

Will I need to take additional nursing courses?

Will I need to have practical in USA hospital?

Thank you for your kindly help!!! I hope to have a sweet reply from you : )

Moved your post to the International Forum where you can get the answers that you are looking for.

Please read the sticky at the top of the page called "The Primer" -- it will answer many questions for you.

NY and NJ have different requirements as far as licensure and also two different licenses, one for New Jersey, and their is a separate one for New York.

You will need to pass the NCLEX-RN exam, as well as the series of English exams, and get a Visa Screen Certificate. Information about thsi can be found in the sticky that is above.

Start with that, and then let us know if you have more questions.
