A question about NCLEX registration fee

Published

is it if you don't pass the NCLEX, you have to pay that $200 each time you take it again to register with NCLEX?

I am assuming every state pays the same amount which in IL is $200.

yes if you dont pass you pay it again. At least here in ohio you pay a $75 registration fee to the BON (this is good for one year) then you pay $200 each time you need to take the test. And you can take the test every 45 days untill the year is up then you will need to pay the $75 fee again. but hopefully you only have to pay it once (both of them)

Thanks for the reply, I believe i will pass the first time, just want to make sure. Now there is another reason for me to study hard and pass the first time.

It is the same here in North Dakota. It was $110.00 to the board of nursing, good for one year and $200.00 to Pearsonvue. It is $200.00 each time you take the test. Sure hope I pass the first time!:lol2:
