Hello everyone,
I am considering accepting a full time position teaching CNA courses (through a community college). I am a RN and have a total of six years in healthcare (CNA 1st then RN), and feel I have alot to offer! I have always had a passion for teaching and I am very excited about this possibility. The schedule is much better than the one I am trading in which will allow for more class time to work on my BSN.
I would like for someone who has taught CNA courses to give me some insight, good and bad, in this area of Nursing World.
Thanks!

I am education nurse at an LTC facility. Have been for 5 years and I love it! I find it very rewarding to teach the trainees the correct way, as well as how important it is to do things correctly and how it affects their residents lives. Love it, love it, love. If you want, you can send me a message and we can discuss. Good luck in your new endeavor!
nursejoy1,
Thanks for you insight! I am really excited.
