Hello all....

I was just wondering how many times can you take A&P? is it only 2x? I took it the first time got a D...i had just had a baby and i shouldnt of done it and on top of that it was a summer course. I then took it again the following semeter and got a D+ i did great in the class but our lab was just a final that was it!!! so that killed me. I really want to apply to RN programs do i have to wait 10 yrs to take it again? If i apply at another school and redo A&P do you think i can just leave out the school i took a&p and got those grades? Im desperate

depends on the school. some schools don't care if you retake a class whereas others will not accept any retakes at all. for the schools that accept retakes, i have seen some that didn't have a limited number of times that you could take a class.

Just check with the school. I know the schools I've attended you could repeat as many times, but the nursing program only takes two.

around here, as many as you like, however, after the 2nd time, you have to pay and get no aid to do it. I think if you fail 2 times, maybe you should consider a different career. Sometimes, the med field just isnt for everyone. Doesnt mean ya not smart, just that medical maynot be your thing, some1 might accel in law, and fail in medical. what ever the route ya take, good luck.
