My school has 16 week semesters. Would anyone recommend someone who doesn't work or have kids to take these two classes together? or should I split these classes up? I'm coming up on the last semester of Pre-Reqs. I kind of want to get it over with, but i don't want to hurt my science GPA either.

If you're generally a good student, it's certainly possible to do take both and do well. It might be a lot of info, but people have done it. Just will have to make sure you spend the time studying.

If school is your only commitment and you're willing to put in the time studying, I don't see why you couldn't take those two classes together.

You most certainly CAN! I did. I ended up with an A in A&P ll and a B in Micro (Micro is tough so that B is an A in my eyes lol!). Best of luck to you xo.

I think that so much of that decision is based on your strengths as a student and what is required of you for each class. I took both of these classes together and found it completely reasonable and manageable. At my school both of these courses had very engaging instructors who did not assign a lot of busy work, therefore I could easily balance both courses without issue. If the courses at your school are different or you struggle with science based courses, you should put more consideration into taking these classes together. At the end of the day no one here can tell you if you should or should not take these classes. Every class and every student is different, you are the best judge of your capabilities.

Well I'm taking A&P 1 and micro and seem to be managing, along with a very full time schedule. It just really all depends on the person them self. Don't get me wrong it's crazy! but if you are determined and have motivation, then I believe it is possible. Just try not to take any other hard classes along with those 2.

Although I think that it is a personal decision, it can be done. I had A for AP2, and B for Micro. For me, I did both but I wanted to avoid any problems so: I did the classes on separate days, I only had 1 other class (non-science, not math) (I did sociology); the lab teacher and lecture professor was the same person; I did tutoring for the first 3 exams to make sure I was Ok with the chapters

I still think that you can prepare and pass both classes.
