A&P II Fall 2005: Anyone else?

Published

i am so nervous and excited!

had not planned to go back to school this quickly but a miraculous series of events have allowed me to go back to school at the last minute. however: my a&p i class was 15 years ago  !!

luckily my bsn program doesn't require prenursing sciences to be within a certain time frame.

anyone else?? i'm curious to see who else is taking a&p ii...

i just finished a&p 2 in summer 2. i'm sure you will do well, even with your a&p 1 so long ago.

even when something overlaps, an instructor will probably brief over it. (we reviewed vitamin d synthesis in a&p 2, but also discussed it when learning about the integumentary system in a&p 1.)

if i were you i would at least get a cliff notes for anatomy and physiology. that way you can review yourself over the a&p 1.

that will be important in clinicals. :)

good luck, and welcome to allnurses.com. have fun in you a&p 2! :)

I'll be helping out as a lab assistant for A&P II this semester. It will be fun! :)

Thanks for your replies, and the A&P CliffsNotes is a fantastic idea. Will be getting that ASAP!

I am in A&P II starting Sept 6th! I will also be strting my first year in Nursing! It will be a challanging semester!

Pasha :)

I'm also taking A&P 2 this semester. I start Monday!

Good Luck to All!:D

Hi Michelle!

I am sure that if you did well in A&PI, no matter how long ago you took it, you will do just fine this semester. It's amazing what comes back to you with just a little prodding (mentally, that is!).

I'm also taking A&PII this semester - I took A&PI in the spring and took the summer off to be a bride. Talk about having all the information shoved out of your brain by a bridal magazine! Anyway, I'm hoping my memory hasn't failed me from a three-month break, and I'm excited to finish this course, because once I do, I can *finally* apply to nursing school. Yay! I'm hoping to do an accelerated-BSN program just minutes away from my home...

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do fine.

Hi Annabelle, welcome back to school!

After picking up my texts, I am wondering if I shouldn't have audited A&P I :chair: Have been reviewing everything though so hopefully that will help.

My class and lab start on Wednesday, how about everyone else??
