I have already taken A&P I, but it was in 1993 and someone said I would probably have to take it over because it had been so long. My question is could I take A&P I and A&P II at the same time since technically I have already taken A&P I?

I would assume no, but I have been known to be wrong before. I would call the admissions office at your school and ask.

Technically? Yes, you can take them together AS LONG AS the school you are going to gives you credit for A&P I from 1993. I definitely WOULD retake the course because it has been more than 5 years and numerous schools set time limits on the acceptable amount of time elapsed (usually 5 years--although some are 7 and some are less). Even if your Nursing school sets time limits and your first go around with A&P won't count towards your nursing pre-reqs, it *should* count with regard to getting into A&P II in the biology department.
I'm in the same boat with regard to Chemistry. I have General Chem I from fall 2004 and I technically can get into Chem II, but since it doesn't count towards nursing I'm going to actually be taking them in reverse order Chem II and then retake Chem I. My school acknowleges my previous Chemistry course but the nursing program doesn't because of the amount of time.
