Hi everyone,
I'm Michele. I'm new here. I just started my pre-requisites for the nursing program and I'm taking Algebra. My question is.... Is it wise for me to start studying A & P flashcards at this point before I even take the class? Or will that just confuse me? I just want to be ahead of the game because I know the class is difficult.
Thanks!

Hello and Welcome
I am taking my pre reqs too. I just finished A & P I now taking II. In all honesty I bought myself the Barrons flashcards and have not used them at all yet. You could look at it now to get a heads up but I think you will learn the most during your lectures and lab. Take good notes and keep focused. It is alot of information to absorb but it also keeps your interest too. GOOD LUCK.

i am not sure about your campus but ours has a biology website and you can download the lab lists for each lab exam so you can study. i purchased the netter's flash cards from our campus bookstore and i used them a lot.
if you have the time, then i would definitely say get started. it can only help you in the long run, provided you can get a lab list. maybe check with current students if your college doesn't have the lab list posted and see if you can make copies of their lists to study.
i took a & p i & ii in the summer and it went by like lightning and i would have benefitted from additional study time.
good luck!
