We use Fox's Human Physiology at my new school, but at my old school they use Marieb's A&P (full version not just Fundamentals one). I don't really like the Fox one, but I love the Marieb one and I bought it for myself so I'd have an extra reference - it was definitely worth the money.

Human Anatomy & Physiology Marie B for both lecture and lab
8th edition for lecture text and 9th edition for lab
At first I was ticked at how much I had to pay for them.
But I have no regrets now. All the little extras that come with the new book have been a life saver to me. I love love love the MP3 tutor . I can download those recordings to my MP3 player and listen to them while I'm out doing other things so this is one text that I have no regrets spending an arm and a leg for.
I can sit and read the text or read the online version and engage in games or look up a term or back at something I forgot much quicker than skimming through the book. Time is of the essence for me so anything that helps me to get more studying time is a plus for me.
