University of Wyoming RN to BSN Program

U.S.A. Wyoming

Published

Hi all. Has anyone applied and been accepted to the U of Wyoming RN to BSN program? Is there anyone currently a student in said program that has feedback info regarding the program? It appears to be one of the cheapest programs with a seemingly uncomplicated course of study. Thanks in advance for your responses! :)

I graduated from there in 2010 through the online RN-BSN. The price is what attracted me as well. I was able to complete the program in a little over a year, but I did have to take a couple classes at a local community college to do it in that time frame. The program is pretty straight forward and the online component makes it very flexible with a work schedule. The price also allowed me to pay out of pocket and not take on any loans. They offer an installment plan, that I believe you pay have the tuition for that semester up front and then pay the rest in monthly installments over the course of that semester.

I am currently in this program. I only started last semester, it's going well so far. I have a handful of non BSN classes I have to take with it for the Bachelors requirement. My work will pay up to 7000 thousand dollars a year for my schooling though so that works out nice!

I am starting in fall at university of wyoming. Do you have a book list or any books you would like to sell? I love your line about "good time management" that is so true.

Is this one pass/fail like or do you get actual grades? I'm trying to decide on what to do for my RN-BSN next year and would eventually like to go on to become a CNM.
