We are looking at relocating to Driggs or Victor, ID, for a job opportunity for my wife. I would most likely commute over the pass and work in Jackson- both because its the closest hospital, and also because I have WYIN loans, and if I work in the state, they will be forgiven. Any general thoughts on the hospital? How do they pay? Ball-park for a recent grad (coming up on one year experience as an RN, have been with the same hospital for 2+ years, previously as an LPN)? My RN experience in in the OR, but my communte is probably too long to be able to take call. That means I will be applying to a dept I'm not experienced in- how competitive in the market there? Thanks for any input you can give.
