Debridement Question

by wocpt

I am looking for information about the requirements/validation process for an RN to perform sharp debridement in the state of Missouri.
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.

Default Re: Debridement Question
That would be something to look up in your state's nurse practice act. As far as I know, RNs are not allowed to do sharp debridement. Which is kinda stupid since PT's can do it in some states. Go figure.
