what are the conditions in Dubai or Qatar now????

With the political unrest even greater than ever, what are the conditions regarding working in Dubai or Qatar if anyone knows?It used to be safe on the compound in Dubai, but I am unaware about it now. Qatar?What about the wages now? Just a few years ago the pay was good- no taxes, and by chance if you were to be a private nurse to any royalty you had a better understanding about the culture with safety provided.Does anyone you know work over there now?Thank you
