Hello to everyone..Can I ask anyone who is working with MOH saudi Arabia? Can I ask if they are offering a 1 year contract? Can you give me also an idea regarding their exam? Thank you in advance. Godbless!

Hello there, I am new to this site. I just want to know some fact about KING SAUD MEDICAL COMPLEX- Riyadh.. How does arabian treats OFWs in their Hospital? Actually we are about to work there soon as we get our departure slip.. So, please guide us.

Guys, anyone who knows the set up of dispensary in Saudi? Can you give me advice on what needs to expect upon working there? Can we apply directly to big hospitals there like King Saud when we get there or do we need to go home in Phil and apply under POEA? Thanks for any comments co-nurses!:yeah:

Hi anna01. I worked in Saudi for 2 years under MOH and was assigned in dispensary!! I'm not scaring you but it's very difficult working in dispensary especially in aseer region! I've been assigned to 5 different dispensaries and it's hard having set up like that because you don't have permanent work place wherever they have shortage of nurses they will just pull you out and bring to far flung areas and I'm telling you the patient there are very uncivilized and difficult to deal with!! And as you can see they never transferred me to hospital even though how many times I've requested, not unless you will have a co-nurse to swap with! The processing of paper like for iqama, Saudi council, ijaza (vacation paper) is so difficult!! That's why I resigned... Anyway good luck and god bless..

Thanks for your comment! one more question, do you know Hagar Dispensary in Al-Hasa? Is dispensary is like clinic here in Phil? Wherein they just have OPD for check up and no in-patient and other departments? Does your 2yrs experience in there qualify you to work in other countries like UAE or US? Maybe some hospitals in other country want your experience as staff nurse in hospital instead of dispensary... I wish you got my point. Thank you so much! We really need advice from those who came there before we sign the contract. God Bless!!!:D

What agency have you applied for? Are you under MOH? The dispensary in Saudi is far different from the set up in the Philippines. But yes, you're right no in patient and admission. You will be more expose in paper works. There are different clinics like vaccination, chronic, dental, ANC and OPD itself.. If you're assigned in type a dispensary there will be an er dept it is big and it's like secondary hospital in Phil but again still no admission. But if type b and c it will be just small dispensary with small population and you are lucky if you have co-nurse with you.. Luckily me, I've been assigned in type a dispensary and help me qualify to be staff nurse in national guard Madinah-KSA and now in king saud medical city!! If you have any question feel free to ask, I'm willing to help..

@bittersweetet- I'm under private agency...when I searched in net for hospitals and clinic in Saudi, Hagar dispensary have designation of VIP, A, B and C. (This denotes the facilities available at our levels of cover) does VIP, A, B, C means the one you're telling above? Thank you so much!!! Really appreciate your responses!

Oh dear, private agency? I think you will be working in private clinic because all the dispensaries in the kingdom were managed by ministry. Is it a two year contract right? If I were to advise don't take it but it's up to you, you better apply under POEA-SRO rather than private agency. Salary and benefits are far different when u are under ministry and you are safe in the kingdom.

Hi everyone, anyone who have tried working at HAIL CITY KSA? I applied in a private agency and will be working at hail national clinic, has anyone heard about it?

Your response will be highly appreciated. ?

Hello! I'm currently working here in ksmc aka "Shemesy " for 3 years now. This is a tertiary hospital with a total bed capacity of about 1,500. I believed the oldest hospital in Riyadh too. It consist of 3 hospitals (maternity, pedia and central). Also, this is a referral hospital which receives cases all over the kingdom. (should I say the pgh of ksa=)
Are you hired under HOP or MOH?

Hi yousriah... I am also one of the applicant from SRO who passed the KSMC exam and interview and just waiting for SRO's text but something is bothering me. Since you work there for a very long time I'm sure you know a lot of things there. I have a few questions to ask regarding the employment. Do you have email so I can pm you. Your answers to my questions will be greatly appreciated and it will be of great help..

Hope to hear your reply soon. Thanks in advance.

I heard from my friend that all nurses who's working in Saudi for more than 10yrs cannot renew their contract anymore and for those went for exit and decided for reapplication in the same country are also being denied? Hope somebody could answer.
