Hello to everyone..Can I ask anyone who is working with MOH saudi Arabia? Can I ask if they are offering a 1 year contract? Can you give me also an idea regarding their exam? Thank you in advance. Godbless!

Hi, I would like to ask those applicants under HOP. It is written in the OA that the contract is 2 years. Is this only for HOP or also written in the OA of those under MOH?

If it is, is it true?

Thanks in advance.

Regarding my own inquiry, I already saw those OA of under MOH and there is nothing written about 2 years contract.

I was in doubt whether I'll accept a 2 year contract so to spare myself from confusion, I went to SRO.

There I was told by Saudi personnel that it is indeed written in OA of those under HOP that contract is for 2 years. However, if the employee wished to leave the hospital after a year of contract, then there will be no problem. The employee will still receive cert. of employment of 1 year.

I'm a bit relieved now. But still unsure if what they told me is absolute or will still depend on the hospital. I've read in other forums that some HOP hospitals don't allow employees to leave without completing 2 years, and one of those hospitals is the "Heran Hospital" (not sure if this is the exact name or spelling).

I will continue to do some looking on these hospitals to be sure.

I am a registered nurse, with 6 Yrs experience in our country and 3 yrs in KSA and passed already the prometric exam...Last May 5,2011 I passed the SRO interview and exam and was assigned in Al majmaah Riyadh King Khalid Hospital under HOP. The salary rate for MOH is 3500 SR and 2800 for HOP. I'm a bit confused because most of the nurses who were assigned under MOH hospital have lesser experience than those who were assigned under HOP but how come they will receive bigger salary than us? Does anyone have any idea on this matter? Thanks guys.

What's written on my OA is the same as what you mentioned above for HOP. I already verified it with the Saudi personnel at SRO and their response states that it will all be the same upon arrival to KSA. This 2800sr they wrote on our OA is the basic salary, which will change according to the applicant's qualification. But with this reason, I'm still confused and doubtful about what they explained because it's clearly in the paper that there's a big difference, and also it's both written in the OA of MOH and HOP that the amount indicated there is "the basic" salary.

But I believe that your total salary will still be higher than those who have lesser experience even if they are under MOH=)

Hi colleagues,

I was wondering if MOH applicants can use the prometric exam taken in Philippines to register in Saudi Council? If yes, is it required to be DFA and/or SRO authenticated to be valid in Saudi?

Thanks.

To everyone on this forum,

Does anyone know what will happen if ever you already have visa but you decided not to continue your employment or cancel the appointment?

A friend of mine said that there is a bulletin post stating that an applicant who decided to withdraw application when visa is already available will have to pay a certain amount. She didn't mention the amount though.

Is this true?

Thank you.

Hi everyone! ;)This is the first time reading the thread and the discussions here are so helpful for someone like me who will be leaving soon. My flight will be on June 30 and I was only advised about it on the 21st... So little time to prepare... Right now, I'm preparing everything I need one by one and spending all the time I have with my family...

Until now, I still can't grasp the feeling that I will be leaving in 6 days.. Tomorrow will be my PDOS and I hope, I'll get all the information that I need once I'm there. And yes, threads like this are really helpful for first time Saudi bound like me...

Does anyone here knows where Musahamiya hospital is? The only thing I know is that its in Riyadh. That's where I'll be working (under hop). I tried googling it but no results were found. That makes me even more scared...:uhoh3:

I tried looking at the place with google earth but didn't get too lucky. I found Al Maysahmiya, but not that sure if this is the same with "Musahamiya"..maybe you could try asking the Saudi personnel at SRO what is the exact name of your hospital. I believe they know your exact hospital name because you're under HOP. After that, try using google earth or wikimapia or google maps to search for that place. That's how I found mine. Good luck ?

@buttercaramelhotdog

Hi again!

I just got excited to go back in this thread, because I think I found your place (but still not yet 100% sure).

I think your place is Al-Muzahmiyya, Riyadh. I found it in wikipedia, as one of the 19 governorates in Riyadh. It is in 40km southwest of Riyadh capital.

Here is the link to wikipedia that contains info about the place and its coordinates in case you want to locate the place from the map.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Muzahmiyyah

This is the coordinates: 24.48215'N 46.25605'E

Good luck ^_^

Hello everyone. This is my 1st time here and I found out that all the discussions here are all interesting and helpful for someone like me who wants to work abroad. Anyway, I just want to know who has an idea. I want to apply at SRO, I'm from Mindanao. Where should I pass my application is it in POEA Manila? What are the requirements? Please..

Thanks..

Hi collegues,

I worked before in Saudi but through agency and now I'm planning to apply in POEA. I want to know if in SRO under POEA how many months you will wait for the deployment?

Thanks..

I think POEA has an office in Mindanao, you can submit your documents there. And then later on SRO will send you a text message inviting you to attend an Interview/Exam, which is usually held only in Manila.

Requirements:

ORIGINAL & PHOTO COPY OF

1. Resume with detailed job description

2. Certificate of Employment (at least 1 1/2 years of experience in hospital)

3. College & Highschool Diploma

4. PRC license

5. Board rating

6. Board Certificate

7. Transcript of records

8. NBI clearance

9. Passport

10. Birth Certificate

11. Marriage Certificate

12. OMA certificate for Muslims

13. Certification of trainings and seminars attended

Most of the time 1-2 months waiting after submission of authenticated docs & payment of visa.
