Hi, I was also texted by POEA- SRO informing me of my scheduled date of interview last January 27, 2011. I applied last February 2011 at POEA, but like you, I am also waiting for my application at KKUH. Where did you apply anyway? Was it at an agency? I decided not to attend my interview because I thought I would be wasting money if I wasn't really sure if I will grab SRO or not. Then they texted me again the other day, to report to the office for my exam and interview such that the interview is on going until May 10. I am confused but I don't think I'll be going, the air fare is too high. I guess I opt to try my luck next time, KKUH won't work. God bless to you anyways and to everyone else.

Can anyone share any tips during SRO interviews as well as examination? What are the topics included for the exam?

The interview depends on your area of expertise. The interviewer would cite a scenario and will give out objective questions. In my case, since I'm an ER/OR nurse, he asked me if a patient arrives at the ER with head trauma injury, what will be my concerns, another question is if a patient post OR suddenly becomes cold clammy and diaphoretic, what will I do?

Regarding the exams, it's all about the fundamentals of nursing. 50 items, and is not under time pressure.

Anyone please help me..

Hi, I had interview and exam last May 05, 2011 and I signed already a paper stating my salary and they told me I will be assigned in er at King Fahad in Jeddah.

They have given me already medical referral form but until now I haven't received any text message from POEA for the schedule of medical. How long does it usually take? I also cannot find it in POEA website.

Another question please. How long do I need to wait before I can go to ksa?

Can you please recommend good agency with low placement fee?

Thanks.

First, have u called POEA? You can try asking them because I think they are the only one who can answer your inquiry regarding why you're not on the list..

Second, the waiting period for departure will start on your final evaluation..

In my case, way back 2008, it took me 1 1/2 mo.

How low is low for you my dear colleague?

Because if we're going to base on POEA's policy, agencies can only charge applicants with PF equivalent to "basic salary" offered to the applicant. Meaning, the higher the offer, the higher PF will be and vice versa.

But there are also agencies who are really advocate of applicants, who have "salary deduction scheme" or sometimes even "No PF".

You can visit this page from workabroad.com for some agencies who do not charge applicants with PF:

Good luck=)

Even POEA now requires 2 years of hospital experience. I am working in MOH KSA for 4 years now. As what I heard form my friend who just arrived last week here in KSA, it is necessary that you already had Prometric exam and the basic salary in SRO.

(Saudi Recruitment Office) is 3700sr but when they arrived here in Saudi and signed a new contract her salary will automatically increased to 4500SR as basic salary.:nurse::yeah:

Really? You mean 4500sr is only basic upon arrival to KSA?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, isn't it the inflation rate that caused it to increase?

Hi, I would like to ask those applicants under HOP. It is written in the OA that the contract is 2 years. Is this only for HOP or also written in the OA of those under MOH?

If it is, is it true?

Thanks in advance.
