Hello to all nurses... dis is just helpful info 4 those hu r planning to go to Dubai..Please b4 u plan make sure u have the ff qualifications:

prc license

2 yrs exp

attested cert(school credentials)

u must have these 3 things for u to qualify to take exam for MOH and DOH license.u cannot work as nurse without UAE license.

Helloo there i'll be in dubai on monday and i'm planning to apply there in the hospitals. I got 3 yrs hospital experience 1 yr in medical surgical and 2 yrs in ICU. I've read in DOH website that if you hold a current registration in some countries like United States of America, you will be exempt from the assessment. I have 2 valid US license from Vermont and Tennessee. I asked my dad to call the DOH hotline to clarify this and they said that i have to be have my documents assess. I'll be taking the HAAD exam also here in makati before i leave. I also noticed that DHA assessment conducts computer based exam now. So if ever i won't be exempt from the DOH assessment i'll just take the computer based exam. I wish i can find a nursing job in dubai. Best of luck to all nurses who will do the same route like me.

Hey chengzz! Update us with your application ok? I'm also a US licensed holder from the state of New York and I'm planning to go there in Dubai next year or in 2013. So I have a question, if just in case you are exempted from Competency Assessment, then you are automatically be registered with DOH right? And what are the examples of MS areas that are acceptable in Dubai?

Guys, I saw the website of DHA. They say that you'll be either assessed through the prometric exam or through oral assessment. My questions are as follows:

1. In what instances would you take the prometric or oral assessment? Will it depend on their decision? Would you take both? Or just one?

2. Second, can I take and schedule my prometric exam here in the Philippines?

3. How much is the fee for the prometric exam?

1. what exam shall i take; haad, dha or moh? are all these exams offered in the philippines?

2. what does this certificate of good standing of license mean? how can i secure this here in saudi?

3. is it possible to visit dubai if your fiancee is the one who will invite you?

answer:

1. haad= abu dhabi; dha= dubai; moh= other emirates except dubai and abu dhabi;... haad and moh can take in the phil. but dha assessment is only in dubai..

2. cert of good standing= will you get it at the prc.. if you at ksa, ask ur relatives to process cert of good standing at the prc and ensure that you have an authoriztion letter to be faxed to them or via email.. will take 3 to 4 working days to get it in the prc..

thank you markretardo for the info! so i will start by taking haad even if i plan to work in dubai or it will be of no use? then if i get to dubai i will take dha? regarding the certificate of good standing im currently licensed also here in ksa, will i also need certificate for my saudi license?

Hi guys! I'm already done with my dataflow and the result was submitted to HAAD on Sept. 14 and it's more than a month and yet my status hasn't changed, my status is still 0-New. is HAAD e-licensing website updated? my employer is Al Rahba Hospital.

2nd- I worked in Yemen but since the country doesn't have its licensing body i only have my COE, will there be any problem come HAAD review my application? according to the eligibility criteria i can submit COE in place of license if i use my home license. I was suddenly become worried since somebody told me that I need to write a letter then HAAD will give me form for the hospital to fill it up. Thank you for your reply
