Register Today!- Dec 12, '11 by cool_nurseQuote from aljonrnHello Aljorn, I only had a year of experience that's why I only applied for the MOH license. I didn't accomplish the verification for foreign countries and recognition of certificate. What I accomplished was the "NEW REGISTRATION" part. And then I chose registration without MOH EXAM since I am a licensed nurse in U.S. =)) So you are applying for the MOH as well? Are you in Dubai already?cool nurse i have some queries regarding moh exam registration.. did you accomplish "Verification of Registration for Foreign Countries" and "Recognition of certificates" forms in moh online?? pls reply...

- Dec 12, '11 by bianca04Hi guys! Can you pls. help me about the process of employment in dubai as a nurse? I have a current philippine license and passed a NCLEX exam. I am planning to go to dubai early next yr. Is it possible for me to have a job in a hospital? i have no hospital experience but would like to take the chance there. I hope for your positive response. Thank you.
- Dec 12, '11 by dodoyI think the hardest part would be finding the employers (or also known as the recruiting healthcare agency according to the FAQ) who will be completing the registration process. If I understood the guidelines right, there are forms to be completed and submitted to the FDON before the licensing is completed. One of those forms would be from the facility that will hire you.
Just sharing. I also saw some job postings on some of the hospitals in Dubai. Try searching for the list of hospitals in Dubai and check out each hospital's individual website. God Bless us nurses. =) - Dec 12, '11 by dodoybianca04
You can only be allowed to work in Dubai once you are licensed there. Try completing the registration process for nurses first before even going there. I believe that would save you a lot of money and time. Check out DHA's (Dubai Health Authority) website first for the instructions and requirements. - Dec 12, '11 by aljonrnQuote from cool_nurseHello Aljorn, I only had a year of experience that's why I only applied for the MOH license. hi cool nurse i cannot send private message to your account... maybe being a nclex is an advantage but the most important is your experience.... am in dubai now and i dont have any idea regarding nursing job in other emirates...as far as i know there are 3 hospitals here in dubai under the ministry of health....1 of them is al baraha hospital...i ask the hr if i can submit my cv to them but they ask to take the exam first..hehehe..by the way have you already booked an exam in moh????? .contact me in this email aljonlatagan17 at yahoo dot com - Dec 12, '11 by cool_nurseOk I got it. I did not book an exam for MOH because I applied for the exemption part for foreign licensed holders (US to be exact). Right until now, it's been a week and I haven't received a reply from them. The status of my application was updated though which was "payment done". Good luck on your MOH exam! =)

Thank you for responding. I have seen that they require 2 years of paid working experience for you to be eligible to take the exam. However, it is not noted if it requires a Med-Surg background. Does this mean that I can take the exam given that I hadn't had such?
Another thing. It says that the validity of the exam result is only for a year. The instruction also stated that the licensing process can only be fully completed once you have a recruiting healthcare facility fill up the required forms. According to the manual, it says that the professional himself can look for a recruiting healthcare facility to complete the form for him and finish the registration/licensing process. Can you shed some light on this. Did I get their instructions right?
By the way, how was your exam? Please update us with your status regarding this whole registration process. Thanks a bunch! God bless you
Yes, you need to have 2 years of work experienced to be eligible to sit for the exam. It's not stated in the dha website with regards to this specific clinical experience, but i've heard HAAD (Abu Dhabi) is doing that. So if you're planning to take HAAD you really need to have 1 year experienced in Medical Surgical but i'm still not sure of that cause i haven't taken HAAD examinations.
I just passed the DHA exam and they will provide you a letter that you have been approved for Registered Nurse and yes it's true that you really need to get an employer first for you to get the license or else it will be forfeited if you didn't find an employer who will sponsor you. Hope it helps. Goodluck! - Dec 12, '11 by aljonrnQuote from chengzz_1110Yes, you need to have 2 years of work experienced to be eligible to sit for the exam.
