You first need to register at SANC. I don't believe that you can do it online. You have to print the forms they provide and fax or mail it off. They have forms there that you can print out with a step by step guide as to what is needed. They will first evaluate your application and then when satisfied request information from the university you completed your nursing degree from. Information they will ask your university is things such as clinical hours and course descriptions. Once they are satisfied with that then they grant you permission to write the licensure exam. This processes is a lengthy one seeing as SANC is extremely slow. If you aren't a South African citizen you have to show proof of a job offer or work permit. I don't know how you would go about getting a job offer here but I would start by going to http://www.sanc.co.za/
. Here is another link that contains the document guide I was referring to: www.sami.co.za/images/NURSES%20_registration
Good luck I hope this helps
