Questions on working in Dubai.

I have a friend who's staying in Dubai and would process a tourist visa for me. I am license here in the Philippines and have already gained a two years hospital experience in a government tertiary hospital, is it easier if I should apply there directly compared to applying to various agencies here in the Philippines? And what documents should I bring that will validate my application there? I would want to work there as a nurse, hemodialysis to be specific. If i landed a different job it's ok as long as the pay is reasonable.
