Influenza Treatment Abroad

Currently I work in a large metropolitan hospital in New York and there has been a significant outbreak of the Influenza virus this year.
We placed half the ED on Droplet Precautions, have procedural masks available throughout the entire hospital and have hand washing stations everywhere.
For those nurses who work in different parts of Africa, what are some of the interventions your facility have implemented for influenza or other significant outbreaks?
