It's an accurate estimate since most nurses don't work full time but its probably a low estimate. All hospital and some ltc start new grads at around 30 an hour to start not including differentials(which as a new grad.....plan on nights). Uw is the only new grad program in Madison ......and getting a job in a Madison hospital is not always a given..
  5. Thanks! Are there a few outside Madison hospitals that are within a 45 minute drive that would be worth applying to if employment in Madison hospitals isn't attained?
  6. Sure there are quite a few hospitals within that range, I know that mercy in janesville seems to take a lot of new grads.....but once you get some experience usually a madison hospital will take you.
