hi rotteluvr31!
You said you took a class to get ahead for a semester. Can you usually do that with the non-clinical classes or do you have to take them together? That is a great idea to get somethings out of the way in the summer! I applied to MPTC and the nursing program lady said that etechcollege isn't going to be available anymore! :-( I am sure that you can contact a school and try to get into a class. There were a lot of nursing program classes on there that I wanted to take. She said you have to get your current school to contact the online school and say you are in a nursing program and for most classes the whole online thing doesn't work for some reason. Does anyone know if it is difficult to take a nursing class thru another school because they fill up? I am guessing that students at that school get in first. I also thought of taking some over the summer to spread things out, but is that risky to take things in the spring and leave something for summer? What if you can't get into the class and then would you not be able to start the fall semester because you didn't have that one class? It is all so confusing! I know that people talk about taking all kinds of online classes so I just don't see why it wouldn't work. anyone have any advice?

I thought this would be a good thread to throw this in...
Has anyone taken developmental psych online through a Wisconsin tech school? I want to do it this summer, but MATC-Madison (where I live) doesn't offer it online or in person at a time that works.
Does anyone know of a Wisconsin campus where you can take the exams online, so that I don't need to drive across the state to take the tests?

I took Pharm online through North-East WI Tech out of Green Bay and I live near LaCrosse. I took my tests online there...not sure about MATC but I know NWTC did online testing in 2007. Good luck! Online classes are great but motivation is definitely needed.

Can anyone who took the Micro course online through Lakeshore Tech tell me how it was and how the labs were done? I was interested in taking this course in the spring. Do you need to obtain a proctor for the exams or is everything completed online? Thanks for any info!
