WGU RN-BSN Online Program

  1. 0 Just wondering if anyone has done the RN-BSN thru Western Governors University? If so, how was it, would you recommend it? Were you able to go on for MSN NP after?

You should go to the "Distance Learning" forum - there are many threads about WGU with some great info.

I'm currently in their program and am enjoying it. A few RNs here were able to finish the program in less than 6 months. I'm giving myself a year.

The only complaint I have is that they don't give letter grades - it's all pass/fail, and that translates to a GPA of 3.0, which may not be competitive enough for some graduate programs.

WOW.... 6 months?! That sounds amazing for RN to BSN? I was thinking about enrolling with WGU... I was nervous because I thought "It sounds too good to be true" but reading about other RNs obtaining their BSN through them really makes me feel comfortable about it Thanks
