WGU pre-liscensure 2015 deadline

Nursing Students Western Governors

Published

I was wondering if anyone knew the deadline to have the application submitted for spring 2016? I know everything has to be submitted in fall but by when?

Thanks to anyone who replies. Btw for the Dallas cohort I was interested in.

Specializes in RN, BSN, CHDN.

Welcome to allnurses-I hope you find a wealth of information on here :)

Specializes in Emergency Room.

Not sure. For the January start date we had to have our stuff in by November 1, 2014.

I know works off of terms and it depends on which hospital cohort and what their start dates are.

They do not have Semesters like Spring and Fall. You must call an enrollment counselor and find out which hospital is offering cohorts and which dates they have available.

You can't apply for the school without going through the enrollment counselor and getting interviewed. They put your packet together when you provide them the documents.

You have to call the school first and ask for the Pre-Licensing Enrollment Counselor and start there. You can't apply without doing that first.

My enrollment counselor sent these dates. This is Southern California. You need to call the school and go through the process with a prelicensing enrollment counselor who will interview you and give you the instructions on what to do and they are the one who will be responsible for making sure your packet is put together after you send in the documents needs and ensure it is completed before they send it forward. It is a long process so you gotta work well before the deadline.

1. July 1, 2015 Orange County cohort Deadline: April 1 2015

2. August 1, 2015 Pasadena cohort Deadline: May 1, 2015

3. October 1,2015 Cedar Sinai cohort Deadline: July 1, 2015

To get any updates or changes contact an enrollment counselor to check for any changes but so far these are the dates that my counselor let me know that are available for 2015.

The number is 855-948-8496 and ask for a Pre-Licensing Enrollment Counselor.

Hope this helps.
