WGU pre licensure program

Hello everyone,

I am applying to the pre licensure program at , I have everything done already, and I will have my interview with Joe the Prelicensure Team lead on Friday, I am very excited to start the program, but also very afraid and anxious, I really hope I can get in. My counselor said that the next cohort for the Los Angeles area starts in March 2012, so if everything goes well I wil be the happiest person alive if I get in and start in march. Is there anyone applying to this cohort? Does anyone know any other cohort starting earlier? if anyone has any tips for me, what should I do next, or if anyone that is already in the program has any tips, any info will be greatly appreciated!!!

What should I expect regarding the clinicals application, is the emotional intelligence test hard? What about the WGU's foundational nursing skills performance assessment?

thanks for getting back to me :-), no I didn't apply they called me but I turned it down as I thought it was a waste of my time, I would rather do a one year program than spend 2 years of my time that I could spend working :-)

No, I have not. Have you? Would you happen to know which three areas is located? I know she said Long Beach, heart of LA and I'm not sure if its Pasadena or Pomona.

We are on the same boat, I haven't heard nothing yet, but I am going to call my advisor tomorrow to see if she knows anything. Well as far as I know the actual is located in Utah!

don't worry, you'll get in too. I hate the waiting as well for my own school (accelerated, not this one), was supposed to start spring now have to wait for summer when I already worked my butt off (took 10 classes between September and December, go figure in order to make spring start), so the waiting starts for me too, I know I have a place just waiting to start the program itself, lol
