Nursing Students Western Governors

Hello. Looking for advice from graduates and all nurses. I'm stuck on PYT1/Leadership experience. For this class I have to present a proposal and solution on a problem identified in a practice setting that aligns with organizational priorities that i want to address. The problem can be from the following areas: policy, practice, education or population. I'm a novice notice and fairly new at my employment. I work in a pediatric ward. I am stuck as i don't know what i want to see changed at my workplace. What policy/practice/ educational practice would you like to see change at your current practice? Any advice on how to tackle this project.

Is this for the BSN program, or the MSN program? I'm only asking because I am enrolled in 's RN-to-BSN program and do not recognize that class in my course of study or degree plan.

Use your creativity when conjuring up problems that require solutions. For instance, call light response times could be improved. Hourly rounding could be implemented if it isn't already.

Other problems may include communication with physicians, slow response from the pharmacy when ordering medications, complaints from the parents of the pediatric patients, or formulating an open-door policy with management.

PYT is the capstone for the new MSN program, I believe. Previously it was an IRB study, but they changed the program last fall.

No, I did PYT1 as part of my BSN. It's the leadership project. I did a new medication dispensing system at the clinic (theoretical). I've heard the new MSN capstone is very similar to this and expands upon it. Maybe new students no longer have it? PYT1 is leadership, PXT1 is portfolio.
