I'm talking to an enrollment counselor now...will she be the person I deal with throughout the program?

If your start date is January 1st, after that date you'll never speak to the enrollment counselor again. The enrollment counselor guides prospective students through the enrollment process, and that's about it. Once you are enrolled, a program mentor will be the person with whom you deal throughout the length of the program.

When will I get a list of actual classes?

Once the tuition has been paid through self-pay and/or financial aid, you will have access to your course of study when you log onto the student portal. The course of study will contain an outline with a list of your courses.

I will be starting Jan. 1st as well Peanut! I am super excited. I have 40CUs to complete. My personal goal is to complete in under a year and would love to complete it in 6 months. I have read on here where it is doable while working full time while being a wife and Mimi. Good Luck peanut and maybe we can motivate each other!!

I am anticipating a January 1st start date too. I am waiting for my transcript eval to be completed so I have no clue how many CUs I will have to complete. I have over 130 college credits so I am hopeful that I will get away with just having to take Stats, Biochem and the nursing classes. Good luck Peanut and Redrobin!

I've been enrolled in the online RN-to-BSN program since May 1st. November 1st marked the beginning of my second term with WGU.

Well my enrollment counselor called me today and January 1st is full Then an hour later, my transcript evaluation results were emailed to me. I have 40 CUs to complete, 9 of which I have taken previously so I should be able to clear those fairly quickly. So I guess I'm starting February 1st.

Hey everyone....so nice to see some others starting on January 1st. I am planning to call tomorrow to see when I can do my loan process...I have to take biochem and statistics and the other nursing credits but can't remember off the top of my head how many credits.

So if I counted it up correctly-I need to complete 34 credits and I would also like to try to finish in 1 term if it's possible. I do work full-time 3 days a week....but am single with no children other than my 4 legged 45 pound 5 month old yellow lab named Brady. :)

Update!! A little late but just wanted to let everyone know that I graduated Dec 2017. I ended up doing the RN-MSN and I must say I really had a good experience with this program. There program design really worked for me and I was able to go at my on pace while not sacrificing my family or personal life. The payment plan allow me to complete the program with taking loans and recurring debt. I also noticed that I have been sought out for positions that I didn't even apply for via LinkedIn.
