Has anyone investigated ARNP programs that will accept a BSN from WGU?

I haven't begun to investigate, but the enrollment counselor says about 1/2 of the programs won't take credits.

Is it due to lack of a GPA?

most likely, but I guess it depends on the specific school in question.

A cyber-friend was just accepted to Gonzaga's FNP program with a BSN. I think you will be seeing more and more 'barriers' to wgu's degrees fall away- esp. with the President's recent remarks regarding the school.

I'm in process of enrolling in a DNP program with a WGU BSN and MSN.

I'd rather lose half of my options than lose 99% of my options if that GPA were to drop below 3.0 at a traditional school!

Lol! Praise! You can't beat the price of especially since you get quality and affordability in one. It costs a little less for me to attend WGU than it would my local Universities RN to BSN program.

I've read a ton of posts about people who have been accepted to various FNP programs with their BSN.

I haven't read a single post about someone being refused entry due to their WGU BSN.

Typically, people are more prone to talk about their negative experiences more often than their positive experiences. I'd be curious to know where this person got their 50% figure from. I suspect that it's a misunderstanding. If the enrollment counselor said this, they probably meant in regards to transferring credits out to other BSN programs.
