Experiences with Western Governors University???

Nursing Students Western Governors

Published

I am currently an RN (with a Bachelors in Psychology and MS Ed). I am looking to go back to school and am contemplating the RN to MSN track. I am wondering if anyone has gone through the program and what you thought of it? I would like to try and contact a "live" person from the school to get more information than what I am reading. For example, I wonder if I can apply for an RN to MSN program...

Thanks for any insight.

Great-thanks!

I did my BSN there, and I'm currently doing my MSN there. I have no complaints. I put in the work and I got my degree, in a timely manner, with very little expense.

Why was it the "worst school ever" for you?

Ditto - I did my BSN there and can't imagine going anywhere else. rocks (and no, they didn't pay me to say that.. I wish they did! :)).

I'm at the last 6 months of my BSN program and I have been VERY happy (and tired!). Easily made the decision of doing my MSN in Education at as soon as I finish.

I would love to find about more about . There website is rather vague and I can't find a contact number. Anyone have experience with wgu in Texas?

Please enlighten us as to why one of the most affordable, non-profit, CCNE-accredited universities is the "worse school ever"? I suspect that you won't be able to articulate an argument worth reading, since your entire review of Chamberlain in another thread is simply, "Chamberlain soooo far the best school!!!".

I cannot speak to the MSN program at , but I enjoyed the RN-to-BSN program. It fit my schedule (not to mention my wallet) and my WGU BSN got me into my local university's MSN/FNP program with no doubts or questioning from the program's faculty or admission staff.

LOL love that response. Chances are, credits couldn't be transferred and/or classes had to be repeated.

I probably wouldn't take school advice from someone who doesn't know the difference between "worse" and "worst".
