Valor Program at Martinsburg WV Veterns hospital

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can give me some info on the VALOR program done at the MArtinsburg WV veterns hospital. I am very interested in applying but was wondering how many slots are usually open and how many applicants usually apply and is it a very competive process. I also wanted to know if the externship was set dates or you can pick dates and times to do it. If anyone has gone through this program or know someone who has that could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I already talked to the education department and nurse recruiter at the martinsburg facility but they said they wouldn't know anything till the beginning of the year and I just want to get a feeling of what to expect. I know its probably different each year but I just wanted to get an idea of what is expected and what I am up against. Thank you
