Nursing student in college needs money-do you know of any resources?

  1. Hi everyone-
This is an old story-a nursing college student needs money. I'm 52 years old, have two Master Degrees (one in English, the other in Adult and Technical Education), but I went back to college to get my nursing degree. This is my first semester. I got a student loan, but didn't receive that much money, and then I had some back bills I had to pay.
Now I have no way to pay for October, November, and December rent, plus utilities. I am so broke I can't even buy supplies for classes. I'm embarrassed enough my my age to ask for help; the financial aid office can't help me anymore.
Does anyone know of any resources, such as a loan for a nursing student in college that I could receive?

    Thanks~

Those with marketable graduate degrees are generally not eligible for those programs.

As far as loans your eligibility is determined by your school financial aid office. Private loans are an expensive option
