Which is best?

For the working nurse in Parkersburg area, which facility do you prefer. Camden-Clark or St. Joe? And why do you like that facility?

I realize that this was posted almost 2 months ago but I want to contribute any how. I have worked at Camden-Clark since 1990 and I have worked at St Joe's in years past. CC is a much better work environment compared to SJ. SJ is an HCA facility and their bottom line is the almighty dollar. Granted, I have only worked perdiem in the ICU/CCU and the staffing for nurse to patient was good. I did get called off alot though becuz I was perdiem. No real way to count on an income for me. CC is also busier than SJ - it is the "community hospital". I know it is a biased account but I have seen both sides - of course - working in hospitals is tough - you have to put up with crap everywhere and you have to draw a line as to what you want to put up with. They do pay more at St Joes (or at least they used to)
