West Virginia School Med policy

Please email the WV Board of Nursing
( westvirginiarn@ncsbn.org ) to urge their continued support in the fight to get the WV Board of ED to realize that by WV Nurse Practice Act RN's can NOT give over-the counter meds without physician order.
BOE is waffling now...think parent note is fine but we all know the mistakes and misconceptions that come in from home! However it is all a moot point since NP Act says we need MD order.

A note to WV Dept. of Ed would be good too!
Keep our kids and our licenses safe!
