Nurse Tech or CA position at UHC?

I am in my first semester of nursing school at Fairmont State. I heard that after your first semester you can get a job in the hospital. I currently work at garfield's restaurant as a server and want to quit so bad :P plus I feel working at the hospital would give me great experience. I have looked on UHC's website for job openings and didn't see any... am I looking in the wrong place... do I need to call and ask? If anyone could give me any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
The best thing to do is to contact the facility and inquire about possible openings. I know many facilities do not keep their site up to date. It will only take a phone call and there is nothing to lose in making that call and everything to gain. Good luck.

Dear Nervous,
Go to www.uhcwv.org , then see where it says employment and click there. From there go to nursing jobs .There are some PCA listings there and that is what you probably would be doing as a nurse tech at UHC. Hope this helps.
