HELP,need input for a MAJOR decision

by emsboss

I MAJORLY failed an exam in OB. Made a 64% . Came into OB from PEDS with an 80% and about an 87%-88% in psyc. These grades are figured together at the end of the semester. Should I withdraw now??? Or try to tough it out and wait and see how I do on the next test? I am supposed to graduate in December....

I know it is hard, but being so close to the end, I would plug through it. Look over your test and see what types of mistakes you made. If they are careless mistakes, you may just need to take a little longer, and if you are having problems with certain aspects, speak with your instructor.

Don't give up!

Some times, you just have to give god a chance to pull off a miracle. If you quit now you will regret it, besides you can always take the class over if you fail. However, why not take a chance and keep going.

You should also discuss this with one of the profs you really like and trust.

Default Do Not Quit
Yes - talk to your instructors - if there is a real problem, they should already have talked to you. At my school, they send out letters when students are at risk for failing.

Never Surrender!!!!!

On a practical note, what have you got to lose? It's past mid-terms. I assume it's too late to withdraw without it being on your record. I assume you can't get any $$ refunded at this point. Can you repeat the semester if you fail this one? If the above are true, you might as well stick it out. As stressful as it may seem right now,You have nothing to lose.

And if you do not pass, do it again!! You're an EMS Boss, if you can handle that bull---- you can pass a nursing class!!!
