going to VA nursing home

by sconoli

I got my call today from the VA nursing home, I'm to start nov. 17 for orientation at 8am. I was hoping to start sooner, but paperwork and background check and drug screen took forever, but wanted to hear from anyone who works there; Do you like it? Is it a good place to work? I really didn't want to go back to a "nursing home" after the first one I worked in, but I'm hoping this one is different since it's the veterans. Anyone with thoughts and opinions on how the place is let me know. Thanks
