Elkins WV says HI!


Hello all and Happy New Year!!
Our little WV site doesn't seem to be very busy. I know there are lots of us out there. I thought I would just pop in a start a say hello!! thread. It may give us all some local contacts!!

I am in the beautiful mountains of Elkins and will never leave. I love it here!!!

okay guys, let's get to knoweach other!!

Hi! I start a 3 trimester practical nursing program on Jan 26th. I am in Charleston.

I am in Fayette County, not too far from the Gorge Bridge, New River rafting, Thurmond, Beckley, and points south.

I too love the beauty of my home state but need and want a change in my nursing career. I hope you have a healthy and happy New Year.

Sarah,
I wish you much luck in your schooling. I am still in school myself at Davis and ELkins College.
It will be very hard and demanding but it will be worth it when wer are done.
Check out the student nursing boards too. They are a great help with problems and if you just need to blow off steam

Yeah I know, I plan to utilize them once the program starts. In fact, I used them to decide on supplies for school.

thanks and good luck to you to. I am carrying 18 hours this semester. Not counting my driving time( one of my clinical sites is almost two hours away!!) and my family, etc!!!
I know I can do it I will just be bald when I am done

Hi mccosner!

I live in Elkins, and am thinking of going to D&E. (Actually, I **work** in Elkins, and live waaaay out in a holler -about an hour from Elkins). I was accepted into the Elkins Vo-Tech LPN program, but after reading this board, am thinking it's a better idea to go straight to D&E.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi!
