Classes Start Tommorow!

Hi All!

Classes start for me tommorow. I am so nervous. I am returning to school after a 10 year absence. At that time I was a business major, so this is all new to me. I am attending Mountain State University in Beckley, and this is my first semester working toward my BSN. I am really exicited too, just a little worried about how I will do after being away from school for so long. Plus I have a 3 year old little boy that is going from 1 day a week at daycare to 4 days a week while I am in school. I am crossing my fingers and praying that my brains are still in tackt. Wish me luck!

Congrats, I just started classes today. I am in a 2 year RN program in Wheeling. I am 31 years old and this is a big career change for me.

If it makes you feel any better, I have 3-year-old triplets in daycare 5 days a week. They are the reason I got interested in nursing. I pretty much lived in the NICU for 7 weeks after their birth. I still hear the monitors in my sleep

Good Luck.

Well I started on Monday, everthing with school went well. I think I will really like my classes and the teachers too, beleive it or not. However, my son picked Sunday night to start getting sick. He did not go to day care Mon or Tues, my husband had to stay at home with him. He seems to be doing much better now, and I hope that he can go to daycare tommorow.

I first though about being a nurse when my son was born, and then my cousin had a baby that was very immature and I spent quite a bit of time at the hospital. I had several chances to speek witht the nurses, and they really changed my mind about nursing. After that I decided that Nursing was the job for me. NOw I just have to get through school.

Classes start for me this morning as well. This is my second of a four-semester ADN program. It's after 1am and there's no way I can get any sleep.

All of you with small kids have my respect. Good luck.
