Beckley Job Fair

UPDATE:

Job Fair was well attended, mostly mining but what medical facilities represented were very actively wanting nurses and other staff. Every facility reported a growing need. Salaries and benefits are being revised. Choice of shifts, 8 hr or 12 hour are being offered, benefits have been nicely revised. One or more facilities have offered a sign on bonus. So, anybody wanting to consider a job in the southern area of WV will find a better environment at present than even last year.

As I stated, LPN's and CNA's, as well as pharmacy tech, surgery tech's and unit clerks seemed to be in demand, not just RN's.
