- Jan 24 by OBrienMPI'm surprised there are only a few people in this forum...I figured there would be more UW hopefuls. Hmmmm? What gives?
- Jan 24 by IriennaRight?!?!?! I thought the same thing!! Maybe not as many people applied to UW's SoN this year haha
- Jan 25 by suzwI applied! Can't remember if I have replied in this forum or not yet. But here's a question: Did anyone receive an email saying (pasted below). I can't figure out if this is just a generic email sent to everyone or if they really did not receive my transcripts. My college transcripts were in the packet, but H.S. transcript was being sent by the school.

- Please request that your official high school and college transcripts be sent to the University of Washington by the application deadline. High school transcripts are required of all transfer applicants. In addition, if you have fewer than 40 transferable college credits at the time of application, request that an official standardized score report be sent directly from the College Board (SAT) or from ACT to the University of Washington.

- Jan 29 by fn2012Hi future SoN people,
I'm a classmate of Jloya and Armynurse in the current class and wanted to wish everyone good luck. I know exactly how all of you feel waiting to hear back. Be prepared to enter an excellent program, times will get tough but you'll get a lot of support and make excellent friends!
Good luck! - Jan 29 by JLoyaQuote from suzwJust call and make sure. Both the SoN needs a copy as well as the UW admissions office. Dont let that be your gauntlet to cut you out of the program.I applied! Can't remember if I have replied in this forum or not yet. - Feb 2 by rob2000I just registered on all-nurses tonight and searched for UW. I just wanted to say thanks so much for posting this info. The suggestions that actual students at UW have shared is great. I applied too and have been checking my email way too much. I've listened to the information session so many times I think I have it memorized. Anyway, I can't wait until the 8th. Good luck everyone. I'm definitely going to have a couple "go to" patient care experiences at the front of my brain so I don't waste precious time trying to think about what to write. I talked with a student in ABSN program right now and every one has said it, but one more time, I'll say it. Read the directions. I like what Carolyn says on the info session about how "there's some things that we put in the directions just to see if you are paying attention. Well, that's my 2 cents. Good luck everyone.
- Feb 2 by rob2000Quote from rob2000Actually I guess I do have one question regarding the proctored essay question. Does anybody think there's a good chance that it will be given about a problem-solving triage situation. I started reading the ESI triage handbook but it's a little over my head since I'm not in nursing school yet.I just registered on all-nurses tonight and searched for UW.
