  1. I don't know how the program is now but when I went there (graduated in 1992) it was an excellent program and well respected in the community at hospitals and by doctors. We got lots of clinical time. My education prepared me well not only for state boards but also for my carrer as an RN.
  2. OMG ! I am so nervous too ! How can some already get the acceptance letter already. whether u get in or not , they should let us know all at the same time.
  3. I wish we could just know! But reading back from last years postings, It looks like a batch of folks were notified...and if they didn't accept the offer by a certain date, they would just go down the list to the next best GPA's. BAHHHH!! i'm going bananas! I have a few friends applying and none of them have heard a thing. One of the girls has a 3.94ish gpa too. So i have no idea what to think. I'm thinking we'll hear something no later than thursday since thursday will be 2 weeks and the school is closed friday. THINK POSITIVE!!!!
  4. I can tell you from my experience of trying to get in this past spring. They sent out all the acceptances the week they were suppose to and then the next week, if you didnt get in, thats when you get your letter by email. They make you have stomach cramps for alomost 2 weeks and then stomp on all your hope with your denial email. I think the lowest they let in is 3.99.
  5. BOOOO!!! I got my rejection letter today. I'm sad It's all good though. The rejection letter said there were 33 applicants with a 3.900 or better and the Class score was 3.952 or higher. It makes me feel good that I was in the top 33! I just need to keep telling myself a 3.906 is good (I forgot they dont round up!) So anyway, congrats to all that made it! You are GREAT! I just hope that all that didn't get in this quarter get chosen for the lottery next quarter Good luck to everyone this fall!
  6. I have a 4.0 in all prerequisite courses but I didn't get in! They sent me something saying my application was incomplete. How could my application be incomplete when I took all my classes at TCC? I am so mad right now, I've worked so hard over the past year to maintain a 4.0 and now they say I'm missing something.
  7. Are you serious! That is ridiculous! I'm so sorry to hear that! wow. I'm shocked for you! Definitely not cool.
  8. Just read your post and had to respond. The same thing happened to me last year! I did not get into fall quarter because of the same thing. I did my prereq's at GRCC and they said that one of my classes wasn't transferrable. Well, it was, but by the time everything was squared away...all the spots were filled for fall. I was devastated. They did put me on a waiting list for winter quarter, and I did get in (just starting my 3rd quarter now). So...it might behoove you to contact Christine and see what they can do...maybe you can be put on a waiting list as well. I know it's going "lotto" but it's worth a try...Good Luck...don't give up!
  9. Hi everyone. So (with a lot of luck) my Student ID number was chosen in the lottery for Spring 2010 entry. I just wanted to know what the process is from here. Is there anyone who was chosen in the lottery for Winter 2010 that knows the process after the lottery? Also, I was wondering what the first quarter would be like, as far as orientation and scheduling goes. Thanks! Im definitely excited/nervous to start in March!!
  10. Hey, I got in too!! For Spring 2010. I'm so excited yet nervous.
