    I attended an orientation at Bates several months ago, applied two weeks ago and then paid a fee to hold my spot for a Sept/2013 start =)
    I was going to apply to other schools as well, but since I will be able to start at Bates soon I decided not to waste money on application fees. I know CPTC (which wasn't on your list) doesn't have any openings until 2016!
