What areas in WA are growing?

  1. 0 I will be moving there at the end of May. At first, I will be renting, but I'm going to be looking for land to purchase for investment purposes. What if any area can I purchase land on a nurse's salary-wait a few years-then turn around and sell it for a profit. I know where I'm moving from there has been a population explosion and land that use to be $50,000 is now $200,000-250,000.

South of Seattle, the Tacoma/Olympia area is forecast to have a huge boom in the housing/real estate area. Prices are going up steadily. We live near Tacoma and our house is estimated to appreciate at a 9% increase every year. The area just North of Seattle is doing really well too. Anywhere in Seattle is already really expensive and this is why these areas are growing.

Clark County/Vancouver, WA has had some good steady growth going on for several years but still has a lot of very affordable acreage.
