Supervisor Signature REQUIRED to get licensed in another state????

    So,
I work in Washington and want to work closer to home. So I applied to get my Idaho State License and found that I have to get my current supervisor to fill out a form and sign stating that I am a worthy employee and that he is referencing me to get and Idaho license.
I REALLY dont want him knowing that I might be quitting in the near future and I feel like that's basically what I'm asking him to fill out. My eventual resignation!!
Is there any way around this???

    Thanks!

There is no real way around it that I could find. My way of doing it was going to be to ask the former manager of my unit. Having said that, I applied for a job at St Lukes which I turned down due to the low pay rate. I even asked if that was the new grad rate and I have been nursing for over 20 years. You do not need your license in hand to apply for a job. Good Luck
